Key Responsibilities News Coverage: Write 4-5 high-quality news articles daily covering Karnataka state news, educational updates (SSLC/CET), and local administrative developments. Investigative Reporting: Assist in "Old File" projects—researching unresolved cases, digging through archives, and drafting follow-up stories. Multi-Platform Content: Adapt website stories into snappy, engaging posts for our YouTube channel and social media platforms. SEO Optimization: Use keywords and trending topics to ensure our news reaches a wider audience across Karnataka. Accuracy & Ethics: Fact-check every detail and ensure all content is free from plagiarism and bias. Requirements Language Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills in Kannada (mandatory) and proficiency in English. Background: Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field (or equivalent field experience). Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress or database tools like Supabase is a plus. Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of the socio-political landscape of Coastal Karnataka (Udupi, Mangaluru, etc.).
